Pharaoh Perfume Oil & Spray is a full-bodied, Cleopatra-style Egyptian Musk fragrance with notes of rose, white oud, patchouli, cedarwood, frankincense, myrrh and amber. This is not a modern-style Egyptian Musk… While we love the floral, “clean skin” fragrances that have become associated with the term Egyptian Musk, we wanted Pharaoh to honor the history of the fragrance and the traditional ingredients associated with its name.
Pharaoh features potent white oud as its musk element, with its dry, musty sweetness and delicate umami qualities. As a base note, white oud captures and carries the top and mid notes and provides a cohesive linearity to the fragrance with a warm, diffusive radiance. Classical Egyptian Musks would have relied on deer or civet to create the musk effect, but we love the direction white oud takes this fragrance. Combined with rose, cedar, patchouli & herbs, white oud creates a powerful Egyptian Musk fit for royalty and takes Pharaoh into the realm of fine perfume.
