Exuma Fragrance Co. is an independent perfume house based in Winter Park, Florida, founded by perfumer Wesley C. Our collection includes handcrafted perfume oils and parfum sprays, each developed in small batches with a focus on originality, balance, and how a fragrance wears on the skin.
Composition as Craft
The work began as a personal exploration of how scent can evoke feeling and memory, and how certain materials settle into the skin over time. That curiosity evolved into a deeper focus on composition, with an emphasis on structure and the way a fragrance unfolds from the first moment through the drydown.
A background in music continues to shape the approach. Individual materials function like notes, and their balance determines the overall character of the composition. Some elements stand out, while others provide structure and depth, allowing the fragrance to evolve naturally over time.
The Character of the Scents
Many fragrances highlight realistic, nature-inspired materials such as woods, resins, florals, and minerals, while others take a more abstract approach. Some compositions are light and intimate, blending closely with the wearer, while others are more expressive and leave a noticeable trail.
Rather than sitting on top of the skin, the goal is to create fragrances that feel integrated and personal, shaped as much by the wearer as by the formula itself.
How They Wear
The range moves from transparent skin scents to deeper, more tenacious compositions. Many formulas are blended at extrait concentration, though the experience depends on the structure of each fragrance rather than concentration alone. Some remain close and atmospheric, while others project more fully.
Materials and Approach
Each formula is developed from the ground up using essential oils, absolutes, CO₂ extracts, natural isolates, and professional aroma molecules. Working directly with raw materials allows for precision, originality, and full control over how a fragrance evolves on the skin.
Every fragrance is created in-house without the use of premade fragrance oils.
Each bottle is infused with a carefully selected crystal or gemstone chosen to complement the character of the fragrance.

Origins
Exuma Fragrance Co. grew out of both a musical background and an interest in experiencing scent with greater intention. Early ideas, including a small line of fragrances connected to the band Big Love, gradually expanded into a broader collection of original compositions.
Today, the brand offers an alternative to mass-produced perfumes and generic blends, creating distinctive, wearable scents for those who value quality, creativity, and a more personal connection to fragrance.
