It was a bit too musky for my tastes, but after giving it a few minutes the scent mellowed down into something wonderful and warm, like spiced cider. This is honestly just personal preference but I thought it smelled like old lady perfume. I expect something a bit lighter scented. It was very heavy. But again, item was fine just was expecting a lighter more natural fragrance
