Absolute holy grail violet fragrance. So many others add musk, vanilla, or powder, but this one is violet and sandalwood, exactly as described. This fragrance got me my very first fragrance compliment, and in a coffee shop no less! They thought I was wearing a secret variant of Le Labo’s Santal. This has projection without being oppressive, amazing sillage, and lasting power. It has been 10 hours and I still get wafts off my skin (and my skin eats through fragrances like crazy). It also holds its structure very well so not only does it last, but it does not collapse or flatten. This is a beautiful, minimalist violet, with a dark side. This is what I wanted Serge Lutens’ L’Orpheline to be. Incredible fragrance. This will for sure be a full bottle for me.
